FileMaker, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple Inc., the leading standalone desktop database company, is searching for a Software Engineer that designs and implements major features of FileMaker’s new product.

FileMaker has an established product line and large customer base. We are advancing the existing technologies and developing new and exciting technologies and products, which will dramatically enhances FileMaker’s position in the marketplace.

Required Experience
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years experience developing desktop applications
• 2+ years Macintosh development experience
• Familar with iPhone SDK
• Strong object oriented design techniques, and reusable component design.
• Strong UI design skills
• Strong knowledge of database architecture
• Familiar with unit test development

• Strong analysis, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Good verbal and written communications skills

Preferred Experience
• Objective C++, Cocoa, and Xcode
